In March 2020 Pony Wave, a Los Angeles-based artist, painted mural in response to the global pandemic. On the Venice Beach Art Walls, there was a mural titled “Stay Safe”. The image of two people kissing while wearing floral masks is thought to represent the ideal depiction of love throughout the lockdown restrictions. It quickly went viral and became a rallying cry for those fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
